First of all, thanks everyone for your advice on my sewing questions! I know you guys will be my Obi Wan Kenobi :) With all your suggestions, I've signed up for a 5-week "Sewing 101" class at a local fabric store, and bought this Sooooo-cute-I-can-die baby sewing book by Amy Butler *adore!*. Now I just need to learn how to sew :)
And on a completely different subject, this past weekend we made a short trip down to the Carmel/ Monterey area so Bryson can stretch his little legs on the many dog-friendly beaches there to celebrate the beginning of spring.
While the weather was not exactly springy (what was I thinking, it's Monterey...), Bryson thoroughly enjoyed being out and about, exploring the many tide pools (checking them for little mollusks he can suck up for a snack), and not to mention the gourmet quarter-pounder he enjoyed at the uber-dog-friendly Forge in the Forest:
Whoa, that's a LOT of meat. I can't believe we ordered that for him, but he inhaled it before I had a chance to question it... And check out that nose.
"Now I have the energy to ROAR!!!"
Can't wait till the weather gets warmer so we (including us humans) can actually enjoy being out in the sun :)
