Can't believe it's Sunday evening already. I'm exhausted and Monday morning is just around the corner... Where did my weekend go?!
Hmm, let's retrace our footsteps...
(1) On the creative front- perfect example of "when it rains it pours"- printed a bunch more gocco and letterpress cards (some exciting stuff, photos to come); put up a few in my etsy shop; finished a special order of collage cards; sent samples to Pegasus Bookstore; took up another custom order (interesting request I got through etsy, again, more to come); signed up for another gocco swap (yep, can't help it).
OK, I guess I knew where my time went. It's hard to notice though when you're running on caffeine and adrenaline.

(2) After almost 9 years of closure and remodeling,the California Academy of Science in the Golden Gate Park will finally celebrate its much-anticipated reopening as the country's "greenest" museums in 2 weeks- and hubby and I got a sneak peek today at a special pre-opening event :) More to follow.
Nothing better than mingling with T. Rex with a glass of pinot in hand.
(3) After months of various conflicts, finally made it to this month's SF Corgi Meet up! It started out foggy and overcast (surprise, surprise), but ended up nice and warm as the afternoon rolled by. I hate to say this but I think fall has arrived.
This time I had both Picasso and Bryson with me, thought that would help Bryson be less anti-social- but no. He's worse than ever. Tried to escape when no one's looking so many times I finally had to leash him to the picnic table :( But hey, that's prime treating/petting spot + it's Lleulu's birthday party so there's plenty of yummies there, so I guess he doesn't mind that much after all. (Happy birthday, Lleulu!)
The puppies (and some puppies-at-heart) played up a storm (and dug a few big holes). It was quite cute. And Toast's baby sister just let everyone hold her and took it all in. What a great baby :)
