So, we've been here in cold and wet Seattle for a few days now. Despite of the weather, it's nice to spend some time with family and see my sister's baby, although that means leaving Bryson back home (he's with Picasso at "Winter Camp", or that's what we told him, they're really at Cotati Dog Boarding, a very nice doggie hotel in the wine country with a huge lawn for them to run around in. No wine for the hotel guests though).
Before we left, we gave him his (read: my) X'mas present from daddy (see right). Yes, it's an oil portrait of Bryson! It took him a while to decide whether he likes it or not... it does look kinda like him (although he said he does not have a double chin), but it smells awful and does not appear edible.
Upon arrival in Seattle, we're astonished to see Chloe having grown soooo much! She was barely 6 lbs when she was born, and now she's more than doubled her weight at a whopping 13 lbs in just 3 months!
"Hi! I'm Chloe, I'm 3 months old and I love my Daddy, Mommy, Grandpa, Grandma, Auntie Ivy, Uncle Jacques and Cousin Bryson (whom I'm very much so looking forward to ride on)."
Grandma taking a picture of Chloe on her cell phone to take back to Hong Kong to show off.
Jacques had a small accident today while shopping at Target- no, he didn't get ripped off on poorly made Chinese goods, but he sprained his ankle bouncing down a completely flat and obstacle-free aisle (I know, beats the hell outta me too). I've carefully wrapped, iced and ibuprofened the injury (something I have lots of experience with, unfortunately). So I guess we'll be limping all the day back to San Francisco tomorrow.
Ho! Ho! Ho!
