Finally, the Giants have pulled off some blog-worthy performance after a dismal start- their 1 & 6 start has actually broken franchise record for the worst start ever since moving out west from NY. *sigh*
But as life (and major league sports) go, things can change 180 degrees in the blink of an eye. The Giants have now won 8 in a row (sweeping the Dodgers, HA!), owning the longest winning streak in MLB thus far this season. And Barry Bonds is hot (steroided-up or not, your call). He's hitting .346 with 7 homers this year, only 14 short of reaching that magic number that has everyone holding their breath. I'm talking about the breaking of Hank Aaron's all-time home run record of 755, of course. It's no longer an "if" but a "when" question, given the way he's hitting. Whether you're a Giants fan or not (I am), think Barry Bonds is a jerk or not (I do), you can't deny this is a momentous time in baseball history.
Go Giants!
