Our family loves your cute animated movies, and has generally tolerated you as a neighbor, even though you don't care to share any part of your beautiful campus with us.
But this... this horrible (HARRRIBLE!!!!) construction noise is just about to push me over the edge:
Well, that was 47 seconds of it, multiple that duration by about 500 times (i.e. 8 hours a day) and you know what we've been living with for these past few weeks on a daily basis.
Seriously, Pixar, can you hurry the &*%# up and be done with it soon? What?! I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!
And then imagine being almost 8-months prengnant, sleep-deprived, and dealing with a sick puppy (as diagrammed below) on top of all of these:
This is our dog, poor Bryson, who has a "hot spot" in his groin area that makes him super irritated, thus the neck guard to prevent him from reaching and licking it. Vet says it could be stress-related. Pixar, hear it? You're even STRESSING OUT OUR DOG. Not to mention the damage you've probably already done to our unborn child.
Mr. Pixar, this is our desperate cry for help. JUST MAKE IT STOP!!!
Sincerely,
Your disgruntled neighbor
P.S. We were really looking forward to see your movie "Up", but now we only wish that our home will fly away to a quieter place as in your movie... Care to provide us with some balloons?

Thanks for your comment on my blog!! We DO have a lot in common!!! I had a Corgi before Maren. He's with my parents now...
I love Corgis! So sweet. Congrats on your upcoming arrival! It's so exciting! It's been quite an experience for me so far. I'm looking forward to when she sleeps a bit more in longer stretches! :)

Oh my gosh... Bryson looks pissed. So sorry for the serious inconvenience. That is really bad..
Thanks for your encouragement, you're always so nice.

Wow, no idea you're an ex-corgi owner too! I tell you, great minds think alike ;)

I love the expression on Bryson's face. It looks like he's thinking "I know I look ridiculous in this thing, but I'm determined to keep my dignity. And also, please take it off!" Hehe.
The poor thing! I'll bet it's related to the construction too. Is Bryson a barker? Theo is usually very quiet at home, but I know he'd be barking up a storm over that.
Stay strong! The movies are worth it! ;)

Haha, poor Bryson! He does not look happy at all!
I hope they finish with the construction soon!

Dang. Noise from construction is the worse. You might have to bust out the noise canceling headphones for you and Bryson. Hopefully you will have some peace soon.

Oh boo....we were actually considering moving to that area of Emeryville, but I heard the construction the other day while we were viewing an apartment. Do you think it will go on much longer??? =(
Poor Bryson....

Hey Pam- we heard that the construction will only last for another couple of weeks. The city hall can tell you for sure (they're keeping a close eye on it since they're right across the street from Pixar). Where are you looking to move to? :)

Poor Bryson!
Now, is that just a more fashionable version of the giant plastic collar most dogs wear? Seems a little more... accessible for him walking around and whatnot as well.
Hope the construction ends soon. Although maybe this is a blessing in disguise, preparing you for screaming baby noise all the time :P

I am so sorry that you have to put up with that noise :( Best wishes to Bryson, speedy recovery!

man. I'm so glad I'm downstairs, on the other side. The noise isn't as excruciating. I can't believe they now have 2 of those things going at the same time, out of sync, PLUS THE ECHOS... bah!
